Bonehead Of The Day

A 22-year-old man tried to rob a gun store with a baseball bat.

He waltzed in the gun shop in Beaverton, Oregon, with a bat and smashed a display case.  When he tried to steal a gun, the manager pulled out his own personal firearm and pointed it straight at the robber.

The manager then yelled some orders at the guy and got him to drop the bat, the gun, and a knife he had on him.

When cops got there the crook was on the floor being held at gunpoint. They cuffed him and put him in jail robbery and more.

Today's Depressing News:  National Debt Stacked In Dollar Bills Would Stretch From Earth To Moon 5 Times

The U.S. national debt would reach 1.1 million miles into space if stacked in one dollar bills.

According to the U.S. Treasury, the total public debt outstanding is $16,738,105,803,858.21.

A dollar bill is .0043 inches in thickness.

$16,738,105,803,858.21 multiplied by .0043 equals 71,973,854,956.59 inches.

71,973,854,956.59 divided by 12 is 5,997,821,246.38 feet.

A mile is 5,280 feet in length.

Thus, the national debt would stretch 1,135,951 miles into the air.

To give this length more perspective, the national debt could circle the Earth at the Equator 45.6 times.

It would also stretch nearly five times the distance of the Moon from the Earth (238,855 miles).

Michaels Jackson & Freddie Mercury Duets Will Be Officially Released, Three Decades After They Were Recorded

Duets featuring Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury will finally be officially released, three decades after they were recorded.

Mercury's former bandmates, Brian May and Roger Taylor, are working on tracks featuring the two superstars and are promising "something for folks to hear." They claim the new music will be available in two months.

May described working on the sessions as "exciting, challenging, emotionally taxing. But cool."

What a lot of people don't remember is that Michael and Freddy had a major falling out after a collaboration in the early 80s and that is apparently why the music between them was never released..

In 2011, Brian May confirmed the Jackson estate had given permission for him work on three songs and he got music producer William Orbit to help him out.

More details will be announced soon.

Retail stores are developing ways to include technology and tracking into your purchasing experience.

Imagine going to buy a shirt and getting an alert on your phone about shorts that would be a great match inside the store.

There are various technologies that can track where you are in a store, what items you're picking up, and which ones you're ignoring altogether.
