The Morning Brain Buster:

Q.  According to a new study, 24,000 kids will go to the emergency room each year for injuries involving these. What?

A.   Shopping Carts!

Bonehead Of The Day:

A Minnesota man convinced a hospital he was both Rush guitarist, Alex Lifeson AND Dave Gilmour from Pink Floyd.

The first incident happened in December when he was handed a bill for $23,000. He told the hospital his agent would take care of it.

In November of 2012 and February of 2013 he convinced the same hospital he was Gilmour. This time he was handed a bill for $49,000 but again said his agent would handle it.

He tried the stunt again in April of 2013 but not all the staff was convinced. They figured out the man was lying and he was arrested.

He was charged in July of 2013 and was due in court this week but is in jail in New Mexico for unknown reasons.

Some Soft Drinks Contain Cancer Causing Ingredients.. Enjoy!

Consumer Reports is warning that some of the sodas you and your family may drink every day could contain a possible cancer-causing chemical.

The possible human carcinogen comes from the chemical, 4-MEI, which gives the soda its brown color.

The chemical is a byproduct when caramel color is made, but it's not in all caramel coloring and amounts vary widely in caramel-colored drinks.

There are no such federal requirements for a warning to be placed on the label, so your only way to avoid the chemical is to look for caramel coloring on the label.
