Goes to the legal system today.. A Houston dad has to spend six months in jail for paying too much child support.... and doing too much for his son.
He's been doing his best to take care of his 11-year-old son who lives with his ex. He pays child support and spends time with him regularly.
By last November, his child support payments were paid in full. Sometime after that, the child support agreement between him and his wife was changed without him knowing.
He ended up overpaying by about $3,000.
His visitation schedule was also changed without his knowledge, so he ended up over-visiting his son.
Both the overpayment and the over-visiting were seen as contempt of court, and the judge sentenced him to 180 days in jail.
It Took This Guy 3,000 Attempts To Get Obamacare
After over 3,000 attempts online and after speaking to almost 50 people, a man in Ohio finally got healthcare.
The self-employed independent contractor knew he was going to need health insurance because his former plan had been canceled. He started on October 1st and had the same problems that the whole country had. After spending hours trying to get signed up and not getting anywhere, he started to keep a log of how many times he tried and how many times he spoke with someone.
It was 3,118 attempts and he had also spoken to 49 people. He said that there were only three people he talked to that he would "trust with my order at the McDonald's drive-through."
On December 17th, he was able to get his healthcare. But a few weeks ago, he got an email notifying him he still hadn't signed up. It was a minor glitch and after checking with his new insurance company, he learned he was good to go.
Before the Affordable Care Act, the man was paying $500 per month. The rate for his new plan is $13.

The whole point of the prank is just shock value and laughs, with participants being told to act "normal" and to keep a straight face.

A Pimp Is Suing Nike For $100 Million After Beating A John With Jordan's
A pimp in Oregon was arrested and put in jail for stomping on the face of a John who was trying to leave without paying for his prostitute.
The victim needed stitches and plastic surgery on his nose after the incident.
Jurors said that the man's shoes - Nike Jordans - were a weapon in this case and in turn he was charged with assault. Now, the pimp is going after Nike. He says that since there isn't a label that says the shoes can be used as a dangerous weapon they should be partly to blame for his incident.
He wrote a three page complaint in jail saying that his 100-year sentence needs to be shared by Nike.
