An Indianapolis man was arrested for pretending to be a cop so he could get a free meal at Applebee's.
The 46-year-old finished his meal and then told the waitress he didn't have any money to pay his bill. He then flashed a badge and asked if he could leave and go to an ATM.
The waitress wrote his plate number down as he left and called the cops when he didn't show back up to pay.
Cops say the badge he flashed was a security badge and not police issued.
He was arrested for theft and impersonating a police officer. He could get three years in jail and a $10,000 fine.
Parents Punish Their Daughter By Selling Her One Direction Tickets
Parents (in Australia) were so upset after their daughter lied to them, they put her One Direction tickets up for sale on eBay.
The girl lied about going to a sleepover so she and her friend could go hang out at an older guy's house.
They put all four tickets up for sale with a scathing two paragraph explanation why they did it, including:
"I am here to give you the boundaries that YOU NEED to become a functional responsible adult. You may hate me now..... But I don't care. Its my job to raise a responsible adult.. not nuture bad habits in my teen age child"

Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal teamed up for the biggest movie in the country with "Prisoners."
The suspenseful drama took in $21.4 million to open in first place. Last weekend's number one "Insidious: Chapter 2" fell to second with $14.5 million.
The star-studded "The Family" fell from second to third with $7 million.

Solid Gold Head Phones... I Want Some!
An electronics company is selling 18-carat gold headphones for over $14,000.
Happy Plugs which is based in Sweden and a goldsmith teamed up to produce the solid gold ear buds.
The ear buds are each handmade and contain 25-grams of gold between the two of them. They sell for $14,500.
College Student Helping To Pay His Tuition With Competitive Eating
A Wisconsin college student is hoping to pay for his college tuition through competitive eating.
The man who is nicknamed, "Silo", has earned over $18,000 in prize money and other gifts.
His competitive eating started in 2011 when he ate a three pound cheese steak sandwich in five minutes and fifty seconds. He won his first prize money for eating nine pulled pork sandwiches in six minutes.
The guy is 6'3 and said walks a few miles a day, lifts weights twice a week, and plays intramural soccer and hockey to stay in shape. He eats no more than 3,100 calories a day which consists of mostly vegetables. He also expands his stomach by eating 10 pounds of cabbage or broccoli at once, and then drinks a lot of water.
